Help Us Close the IR Data Gap

Why We Need Your Help

Thank you!

You’re now part of the Global IR PPH network. We’ll be in touch as the dataset grows.

The data doesn’t exist yet. You can help build it.

We are building the first global dataset linking postpartum hemorrhage burden to interventional radiology access. IR workforce data currently exists for only 22 countries—we need your help to change that. Fill out this form below to help us build a more complete global picture.

Mapping the Global Gap in Interventional Radiology Access for Postpartum Hemorrhage

This project maps the global gap between postpartum hemorrhage (PPH) burden and interventional radiology (IR) access. Using WHO data and IR workforce data from literature and direct outreach, we performed a geospatial analysis of mortality versus access.

IR data were available for only 22 countries, revealing a critical data gap. The pattern is clear: the highest-burden regions have the least IR access.
